Played the game the first day for two hours with no ploblems. The next day it keeps locking up. The mouse will only move the game in the up and down direction. I have to turn off the computer to reset because I cant move to close box!!

Don"t bother - couldnt get letters to appear. Waste of time. Glad it was free. Now I can delete without guilt. Rosie
This app does not start up.
My daughter loves this game a lot. Keeps her entertained and helps her learn.
My kids wont play this because of all the clicking-and-dragging required. We have a MagicTrackpad instead of a mouse and this is the first time Ive noticed the difference. Its difficult for an adult to do sometimes. Not sure why you cant just claick on a letter. Dragging it to a specific spot makes the whole game unuseable on our system. :(
I am a teacher with a 5 year-old and 2 year-old. The graphics are attractive, and the instructions for each activity are easy to execute if your child has grasped the concept of dragging and dropping with a mouse. I like that there are activities and not competitive games that could discourage a child who is learning a new concept. Games are fun for older children who are mastering a concept, but early learners really just need encouagement. Dragging shapes and letters can be a little tricky during the Shape Place and Spelling Bees activities though. A child may think they did not pick the correct letter or shape when they actually didnt place the letter or shape in just the right place. For that reason, I am giving the app a 4 out of 5. We have not experienced some of the other problems including not being able to exit out of some activities. Overall, I am pleased with the app and feel it is a good value, especially at the low price point.
It would be great if you would add more difficulties, like Level 2 for Kindergarten, and Level 3 for 1st Grade. Right now, some of these games are way too easy for my kids. Even for preschoolers, this is easy. Ill change my review to 5 stars if this is added!
My 3 year old is just learning how to use a comptuter - so were still working on things like click and drag. All of these games are the perfect level for him
I like it because it helps her learn counting, the alphabet, patterns, sounds, and basic computer skills. I just wanted to say thanks for the new game, Spelling Bees, my niece is still having fun playing this game. I also noticed that another reviewer with a MagicTrackpad had issues. I have a MagicTrackpad and find it a pain to use. The trackpad may be good for panning, zooming, and rotating pictures, etc., but it is not good for most other tasks. I work with text documents daily and use the magic mouse because trying to highlight a section of text to drag or copy is much more difficult than with a mouse. The Magic Mouse is the best.
This is very good for preschoolers, all of the games are a good level for children under 5. Plenty of games, but wed like to still see more in then next free upgrade.
We searched for an app that our 3 year old could use, just like his big brother. This app has held his interest and is a tremendous value for 0.99$. Though I agree with another reviewer, it is difficult to learn on the magic track pad … after a couple different tries our 3 year old is improving already.
My daughter absolutely loves her "animal game," and asks to play it often. While it has its quirks, I find it hard to believe that we got this game for such a little price. She picked up dragging and dropping pretty quickly, and only has trouble when the game gets picky about where to drop things.
I had a very difficult time with this app. The drag and drop was difficult for me. Wouldnt even let my grandson try. I deleted it. Good thing it was only .99. And one game had a blank screen. Trying to match the animals….they wouldnt even move on to the screen. Terrible!
Was a great app up to 1.5, but after the upgrade to 1.5 it will not run. I get a black screen and nothing loads.
My youngest loves the new dinosaur and ferris wheel games and I really like that the magic trackpad works on the games now! If you are on the older version be sure to get this update because it has two new games and it has not crashed once.
so that they can learn some computer skills. The game is fairly lackluster even if it is a game meant for preschoolers. On top of that, the game does not really teach anything, so having the devs play it probably will amount to nothing. Game crashes constantly, even on the latest version. Definitely would not recommend, even if it is just $0.99.
My kids like the app but I wish the spaceship sound was quieter than the letter sound. I was hoping my son could use this to learn his letters, but the soundtrack drowns out the letter sound. Boo.
Its a very good App for my 2.5 year old Grandaughter… she always wants to play Pirates, (Pirates Phonics) as she calls it, on grandpas iMac. The Space Invasion is another App she really enjoys as well. Thanks for such a nice learning tool.
